Village of Nissequogue Fire Department
The Nissequogue Fire Department is an all volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization who provides Fire, Rescue and Emergency Medical Services to the residents, businesses and visitors in the Village of Nissequogue, since 1973.
We proudly provide quick responses for all types of emergencies, from fires and medical emergencies, to motor vehicle accidents and downed trees blocking the roads.
Our dedicated group of volunteer Firefighters and and EMTs spend a considerable amount of time training and developing their skills in order to efficiently and effectively handle the variety of alarms that occur in our community. We take great pride in serving you.
Our Mission is simple:
To Respond to Alarms in a Safe, Secure and Professional Manner. To Protect the Lives and Property within the Village. To Educate the Community on Fire Safety.

Services provided by the Department include fire protection, emergency medical services (EMS), search and rescue and vehicle extraction. The Village of Nissequogue provides the Department with a fleet of vehicles including two fire engines, a tanker pump truck, a high water brush truck and an ambulance.
